I grew up on a farm. Spent my summers driving a tractor for most of my life.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation.
Do you have any pets? More importantly, what are their nicknames?
Two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Their names are Hami and Cheddar. Their nicknames are Ham-A-Lamb and Ched Cheese.
What’s the most unusual job you’ve ever had?
I worked at a local history museum while I was in college.
If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be?
I’d want to be a mechanic. It would be glorious to be able to work on my own cars.
What’s your favorite holiday?
I love the Fourth of July. No demands on my time like parties, cooking, or gift shopping. Just a day off for relaxing, cookouts, and fireworks.
What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
Chocolate Cookie Dough.
What’s your favorite app or tool you can’t live without?
My favorite app is the Excel app. I absolutely love spreadsheets and have one for everything.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you want to have with you?
I’d take an air mattress for comfort, sunscreen because I burn really easily, and a good book.
